Just a brief introduction…
Hey everyone I’m Chris and one of the co-founders of Band of Bards Comics! I started my own comic studio 6 years ago called Dead Hours. I wrote and independently released my first webcomic in 2015, and it was pretty popular at the time. Honestly as well, I largely abandoned it when some pretty heinous personal stuff happened, and recognized that I had to overcome some pretty deep-seeded issues to get my goals back on track.
Most of you already know the story of how Band of Bards came to be so I’m not going to rehash it, but I hope that through this blog, some streaming, and the upcoming Band of Bards Podcast I’ll be able to convey some more of what this whole process, and the community mean to me. I’m also a tech/gear nerd so I suspect I’ll review some of that stuff too.
The reason I’m keeping a blog is because maybe through my own struggles I can help someone else who needs it. I’m going to be pretty candid here not only about the company, or my projects… but also about myself. I hope you’ll find something meaningful, and please know that I am always open to a dialogue.
